Terms of Service

Twitter Perch is a free service that lets you automatically follow users of Twitter when they mention any words you choose. Using the service as a method to SPAM people is forbidden. Using the service for any illegal purpose whasoever is also not allowed.

Any breach of these rules may result in the deletion of the auto follow listing and deactivation of the account. We may also report you to the authorities if we deem it necessary. The Twitter Perch service is provided without warranty of any kind.

Proper Usage

Twitter Perch may not be used for the following activities:

• Unsolicited advertising or any other form of SPAM;
• Searching for explicit content

Fair Use Policy

On free accounts there is a daily limit of 20 new followers per keyword. This is to prevent excessive usage and to deter spammers from using the service. There is a higher threshhold on paid accounts but these accounts are subject to review based on our terms of use. No more then 10 new keywords may be added from any single IP address in any given day. If this is attempted, it will be deemed excessive use of the service and the account may be shut down without notice and for as long as we see fit.

Privacy Policy

The Twitter Perch service stores your Twitter Username and Password in a securely hosted, dedicated database. Only Twitter Perch personnel have access to these servers. We have taken every possible measure to make sure that your Twitter credentials are kept completely safe.

As part of the service provided we collect usage statistics on stored keywords and other important information including user activity. We will not publish or reveal in anyway any personally identifiable information, including Twitter credentials.

By using this service you agree to have Twitter Perch access your Twitter account via the Twitter API for the sole purpose of automatically following other Twitter users who post about keywords that you have chosen through the service.

We reserve the right to aggregate annonymous usage statistics and to publish that information on our site or anywhere else we deem suitable.

Cookies

At present, Twitter Perch does not make use of cookies as part of it's service offering.

Proprietary Rights

All content on Twitter Perch including designs, text, graphics, pictures, video, information, applications, software, music, sound and other files, and their selection and arrangement are the proprietary property of the Twitter Perch, or its licensors with all rights reserved.

No site content may be modified, copied, distributed, framed, reproduced, republished, downloaded, scraped, displayed, posted, transmitted, or sold in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, without the company's prior written permission.
